Meet the staff
David Crosweller • Chief Executive
David Crosweller is one of the co-founders of Wherever the Need and is now the Chief Executive. With a background in marketing he is a passionate supporter of systems that permanently reduce child mortality and alleviate poverty, and firmly believes that the only way for development aid to be effective is a radical overhaul of the existing system. david@wherevertheneed.org.uk

Richard Napper • Director: African Development
My connection with WTN began after the Asian tsunami in 2004, personally experiencing the destruction of people’s lives, homes and livelihoods in southern Sri Lanka. From this, I became involved in helping to raise funds to rebuild the community that had helped us so much, and WTN went on to build 120 homes in the area. My commitment and passion for WTN’s approach – direct action in alleviating poverty, through providing the basis of a healthy life, effective sanitation, clean water and livelihood – has grown from this point, and I am now responsible for implementing and managing our projects in Sierra Leone. richard@wherevertheneed.org.uk
Rhiannon Adler • Manager: Communications and Social Media
Having graduating from UEA with a degree in development studies I have long held an interest in development work which is sustainable and focuses on self-empowerment. As my understanding of WTNs work grows so does my enthusiasm for it; I have yet to come across another charity which conducts its work in such a holistic and conscientious way. rhiannon@wherevertheneed.org.uk

Alexandra Tillie • Director: Women’s Development
At the start of 2009 I started to split my time between the commercial and charitable worlds and began working part time for WTN. I have become extremely passionate about their work, and since visiting India in November 2009 have a particular interest in the plight of women in the developing world and the important role they play in poverty alleviation. alexandra@wherevertheneed.org.uk
