This trial unit was to demonstrate to local people and politicians how an ecosan toilet with attached washroom would look.  Designed with the local climate in mind (the walled washroom does not have a roof) this unit has been acknowledged by the State Ministry. Since completion, 65 other people in the village have announced that they too would like ecosan; as a result, this project is now ongoing.
